It's That Time Of Year Again!
Once again, it is that time of the year where Christmas is almost at our doors 😊, and with much excitement we warmly invite your welcomed support and participation in this year’s ‘Linking Alms for Christmas and Adopt-A-Family Christmas Appeals, 2023!
Kindness And Generosity Since 1998
As you may know, these Christmas appeals have been coordinated and distributed through the Emerald Neighbourhood Centre since 1998. The kindness and generosity of donations, assist in the continuation of Linking Alms for Christmas (LAC) appeal and enable many members of our community experiencing hardship and difficulties by receiving the gift of a food hamper and presents for their children.
Thank You For Your Big Hearts
The big hearts of our community members together with our local schools, churches, businesses, and community groups, make it possible to share the spirit of Christmas with over 300 plus hampers, that are distributed through the Linking Alms for Christmas and the Emerald Today’s, Adopt-A-Family Appeals.
How To Donate
All received donations, food and meat vouchers, financial contributions, gift vouchers for teenagers, festive items, toys for young children and the many non-perishable food items, all contribute to filling these hampers and bringing that Christmas joy of giving to those most in need.
For your convenience, we have included a list of suggestions below that are suitable for basket hampers.
Your contributions can be delivered to the Emerald Neighbourhood Centre, 17 Yamala Street (staff entrance) anytime by 30th November 2023.
How To Help Community Members
If you are aware of any community members in need, we ask you to please arrange (with them) to click on the link complete the Registration Form or email: lac23.enc@gmail.com as soon as possible.
All information and details are treated with the highest of confidentiality.
We look forward to working with you and seeing the impact these wonderful community Christmas appeals bring, not only to the recipients, but also our community, and to our Linking Alms for Christmas Team of volunteers and Emerald Neighbourhood staff as well.
